Fisher 249 Level Controller
Fisher 249 is an external float type liquid level sensor based on Archimedes’ buoyancy principle, used to measure liquid level, boundary position, and density; Used in conjunction with a 2500 pneumatic controller or DLC3010 digital liquid level transmitter.
Core differentiation dimensions: cylinder material, pressure rating, connection form, presence or absence of cylinder (cage) with cage models include 249B, 249C, 249K, 249L, 249P, 249BP, 249CP, and 249VS. Only the 249W series does not have a cage.

Important commonalities
Except for 249W, all of them are cage body (external float cavity) structures with built-in balance nozzles and liquid damping holes to suppress disturbances and prevent oscillations; Blade edge bearings have low friction and the torque tube can be replaced separately without disassembling the entire Emerson machine.
Standard interface size: NPS1-1/2, NPS2; The head of the cage can rotate at 8 angles, making it convenient for docking with transmitters/controllers.
The float material can be selected from 316SS, Monel, Hastelloy, etc., depending on the corrosion of the medium.
Output: It is only a mechanical sensor and cannot be used alone; Backend configuration:
2500 series: Pneumatic liquid level controller (outputting pneumatic signals)
Fisher DLC3010/DLC3100: Digital liquid level transmitter, outputting 4-20mA+HART signal

For users of conventional petrochemical and ordinary oil products → 249B (carbon steel, CL150/300/600， Threads or flanges)
Corrosive medium → 249C (316 stainless steel cage)
High voltage CL900-1500 → 249K; ultra-high voltage CL2500 → 249L
The European project requires PED → 249BF (isher 249BF cannot be provided in China)
There is already a cylinder on site, no need to bring a cage → 249W (cage free clamp type)
