Yokogawa ADMAG AXF series integrated magnetic flow meter delivers stable and reliable liquid flow measurement for your industrial processes. As shown in the picture, this is AXF150C. The suffix C stands for flameproof type. The converter housing and wiring chamber use sealing and isolation design. It works for hazardous areas with flammable and explosive gases, such as chemical and petrochemical sites. This version has the highest electrical protection rating among the three variants.

Besides the flameproof AXF150C shown in the picture, you have two more model options. The suffix letter creates the biggest difference between these versions.
Take AXF150G as an example. The suffix G stands for general standard type. It carries no explosion-proof certification and fits non-hazardous areas such as water treatment and ordinary industrial processes. You can hardly tell it apart from Type C by appearance. Check the suffix on the nameplate to distinguish them. It normally costs less than flameproof models and serves as the default pick for regular working conditions.
Then we have AXF150W. The suffix W means submersible type. This variant usually comes only with PFA lining. The sensor and cable feature full sealing structure. It can stay submerged in water or buried underground for a long time. It fits applications like sewer flow monitoring and pump station wet wells.
