Allen‑Bradley 1756‑IV32 is a digital input module for ControlLogix chassis.
It has 32 DC input channels to connect field sensors and push buttons directly.
LED indicators on each channel let you check signal status at a glance.

Nominal Input Voltage: 12/24V DC, operating range: 10-30V DC
Backplane Current Draw: 120mA @5.1V, 2mA @24V
Isolation Voltage: 250V continuous between two groups
Response Time: Software configurable input filter (0/1/2ms), low hardware delay for good real-time performance
Terminal Block: Sold separately, 36-pin 1756-TBCH (spring) /1756-TBS6H (cage clamp)
Operating Temperature: 0°C ~ 60°C
♦It serves as a signal collector within the ControlLogix system. Its 32 channels can connect field devices such as push buttons, limit switches and proximity sensors at the same time, sending switch status back to the PLC controller in real time.
This is a sourcing input module. Simply put, current flows from field devices to the module — it works best with NPN sensors.
